Believe in Santa
Christmas is big and special. My two believe if they are good boys and then Santa Claus will bring gifts to them. They have been writing to Santa every week these days, because they are highly motivated : They wrote, Dear Santa, my name is ….., I would like to have XXXX. Thank you. Sometime, they even drew a little picture for Santa. Because they keep changing their mind about the toys they want, there is always a need to update Santa their current thinking.
The hard part is that they insist to mail the letters by themselves and drop the letters in the mailbox. It is so hard to disappoint them as I look at their faces full of wonders. We put postage and I stamp our own address on the back, hope that mailman would understand.
Santa Claus represents an authority figure who can really judge the good and bad. They cry each time if Daddy wants to call Santa about their naughtiness. This is so serious. We are making the ginger man cookies now, because they want Santa to have best cookies and milk when he comes.
